Adebogun, MD. PA was founded by Dr. Oladele Adebogun, Medical Director of Mind Matters PsychiatryMD and with partnered management of Ashley Adebogun, Owner, Mental Health Practitioners LLC. Nigerian born, he moved from England to complete residency at the now known Menninger Department of Psychiatry, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas (1994-1998), where he was Chief Resident of the Ben Taub General Hospital Psychiatry Emergency Room. He holds a Diplomate of American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology and Diplomate of American Board of Addiction Medicine, and Testamur of the American Board of Sleep Medicine. He has distinguished appointments by his peers into numerous National Societies including Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.

Applying the evidence-based practice of Pharmacogenetic-Directed Prescribing of Psychotropic Medications (PREDICT PSYMEDS), Dr. Adebogun offers safety benefits in pharmacogenomics testing to improve adherence and avoid suboptimal or harmful side effects treatment. Dr. Adebogun uses evidenced-based Psychopharmacotherapeutic and Eclectic Psychotherapeutic approach for Adults, Children and Adolescents needing consultation for diagnosis and treatment of complex disorders of Sleep, Anxiety, Attention deficit & Hyperactivity, Bipolar Disorder, Dementias, Personality and Brain Syndromes, Schizophrenia, Panic Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Addiction Disorders, and Pain Syndromes from emotional perspective. As a sleep disorders expert, Dr. Adebogun  focuses on Restorative Sleep, Sleep Efficiency and Sleep Quality, to improve quality of life, performance functioning and particularly in Adults treating Sleep as a window to understanding pain and the balance impact of pain on sleep, and the impact of sleep on pain.

He brings forth multidisciplinary outpatient clinic experience designed to meet the psychological and psychiatric needs of maltreated children within the custody of either child protective services or the juvenile detention and other legal systems. His interest interface between Psychiatry, Spirituality, the inter-discipline of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and benefits of Sports/Exercise. The purpose of these relationships is to deepen the exploration of phenomena, such as healing, grief, and emotional pain response to loss from the different perspectives that each of the aforementioned disciplines brings to bear on healthy emotions that mind matters.
